Özgür Foods
The owners of the business, the Özgür Family, have been in the industry for the past 30 years, initially as traders and later, after many years, as processors and packers. In 2003, they implemented a major investment program and built a brand-new factory in the heart of the largest growing area in Saruhanlı, approximately an hour’s drive from Izmir.
In 2021, they opened the Apricot, Figs, Prune, and Date Dicing Factory, which is the only one in Turkey to meet high-quality standards with continuous production.
The new factories have been built to the highest standards expected of a modern food processing facility. Moreover, Özgür is now accredited with both HACCP and BRC AA+ Grade certifications and is proud to have been awarded “approved supplier” status by many of the largest food manufacturers across Europe.
The company, which bases its production process on Quality, Hygiene, and Technology concepts, to all European countries, especially the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy, as well as to Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
