A Consensus Meeting on Dried Fruits

The Turkish dried fruit sector, a world leader, comprehensively assessed the year 2025 under the headings of climate crisis, food security, and sustainability.

The Annual Dried Fruit Sector Evaluation Meeting, organized by the Aegean Dried Fruit and Products Exporters Association in Izmir, brought together representatives from the public sector, academia, and the private sector.

In the session titled “The Dried Grape and Dried Apricot Value Chain,” Şemsettin Özgür from Özgür Tarım served as moderator. The session addressed quality, efficiency, and structural solutions that can be developed to address the climate crisis in the process from production to export.

In this period where climate change directly affects agricultural production, it was once again highlighted that scientific knowledge, public policy, and private sector experience must work together for the sustainability of the sector.

As Özgür Tarım, we continue to contribute to the sector in line with our goals of sustainable production, quality-oriented agriculture, and a strong value chain.
